Very tricky and important

hi guys,

I have a situation that is really complicated kindly assist if only you know the proper answer

i'm a Palestinian refugee living in Lebanon my grandpa moved to Lebanon after he have been forced to leave his land in 1948 in Yafa Palestine
i'm currently registered as a refugee in Lebanon with a passport issued from Lebanon but written on Palestinian refugee

my question is the following:

am I suppose to put in my application my nationality as: 1- stateless or 2-Palestinian
knowing that I've never been to Palestine the and city of Yafa doesn't exist as the same name anymore since it's been occupied by Israel right now. and I don't have the Palestinian ID issued from Palestine, only refugee card that i'm Palestinian refugee in Lebanon issued from Lebanese authorities

Hi. When you apply as "Palestinian" you can only choose West Bank or Gaza.
A friend of mine is also a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon and when she applied to the US, they said she can not choose Palestinian because then it asks you West Bank or Gaza. I would assume it's the same case for Canada. In Canada it says "Palestinian Authority- Gaza" or "Palestinian authority- West Bank". Since you don't have a Palestinian authority passport, you shouldn't select any of these two. So I think you should select on the Stateless option.
I am also Palestinian but I have the PA passport, so I chose Palestinian Authority - Gaza

1 more question i already applied and it put the nationality as Palestinian Gaza and west bank so do i have to send them an email and tell them that i made a mistake or what ??

Did you put that or did it automatically change stateless to palestinian?

No actually its online when you download the study permit form the ask about your residence and nationality thats when i choose the palestinian (Gaza & west bank) something like that.

I emailed the embassy in Ankara and in lebanon asking them if its correct or not but nobody replied yet.

Plus they've been sending me emails that i should check cic for updates whenever i login i found nothing and i checked every single line in page and sub pages but nothing changes

You should go to the CIC website and submit a case specific update with your CIC number in there. They will not accept any other form of communication. Please go to CIC, click on contacts then click on "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada" then click on "Submit a case-specific enquiry".

Then fill the form up as much as you can, try to fill it up fully. They will take your notes into consideration then.
