My university was closed due to some issue, so US authorities cancelled student visa of all students. Then all students were given two options

1. Transfer to other school in USA through reinstatement of status
2. Leaving USA for good(They said we will able to comeback to US with no bad record)

So what should I answer for question "Have you ever asked to leave any country?" Yes or No

This is a tricky situation but I think the intent of the "being asked to leave" question is related to having violated the rules of your visa. The Options were to go to another institution to continue studies or to voluntarily go home. I am not an expert, but common sense would suggest NO is the correct response. A letter of explanation could be included.

Answer to this question is likely dependent on what you chose to do. You are good if you did per point number 1. If you did not, then its better to be honest to say YES and disclose your situation in a LOE. If point number 2 applies to you and you did not leave, and then you said NO to the question in EE application, it will be a misrepresentation not worth the risk.
