Vancouver to Seattle, can I get back in to Canada? Please Read

My wife and I live in Victoria and want to take a trip to Seattle, we’d be leaving/coming back through Vancouver. I have a work permit and a job here in Victoria but I’m still awaiting my PR approval for the spousal sponsorship application we submitted in July 2024. Would I be allowed to come back to Canada or would they give me trouble since my PR status isn’t approved yet?

Not clear if you are flying or driving. Which is it?

Do you hold a valid TRV or eTA?
