I have a situation..
Me and my wife got my PR along 3 years ago in August 2015. My wife was the main applicant and I was dependent. We did initial landing within a year of getting the PR but could not come to Canada after that. So we have spent our 3 years outside Canada. Now to keep the PR valid I have come to Canada and started living since last one month and I do not have any plan to leave Canada for next 2 years. But the problem is that my wife could not come with me due to some personal reason. She will come but after 3 or 4 months from now. My question is that will she face any issue at Border or Airport because she will not be able to complete her 2 years to keep her PR valid or as I am in Canada and my PR is valid so her PR will also remain valid.
Please advise.

Once someone has been granted PR status it becomes an individual responsibility to meet the residency obligation so no longer relevant who was the main applicant.

First if your wife has a valid PR card then she can at least board a plane to fly back to Canada as you can as well if that is the plan. If there will be any issue it will be with CBSA at the border should they look into her residency since 8/2015.

There is no way to predict if she will be reported or not leading to PR status being revoked subject to appeal. CBSA may just wave her through and then like yourself will need to stay put for 2 years without leaving at all or even until 2 years is up not apply to renew PR card.

Advice on here with CBSA is always only to answer questions asked and not to volunteer information. Whatever happens then as PRs you are entitled to enter the country anyway.

Good luck
