Validity of LMIA after receiving ITA

Hi Friends

My CRS ranking is 948 and I received ITA on 22nd October. My question is "The validity of my LMIA is 10th December and I am ready to submit all my documentation before 10th of November alongwith medicals & Permanent landing fee. Once my file is logged in, it may take approx 6 months for processing but my LMIA shall be valid for 1 month only. Will there be any negative impact on the processing of my case or not ??? Will there be any effect on my CRS Ranking after expiry of my LMIA ??? OR my case will be processed according to the CRS ranking at the time of final document submission ???

Hi harry16125, first I want to say congratulations on getting your LMIA. My understanding is the LMIA has to be valid at the time that your file is logged in, otherwise it doesn't count. Hence even though you have an LMIA which is valid on 10 December if you log an application before then you will not be eligible for the 600 points that are associated with having an LMIA.

To be eligible for the 600 points by virtue of having an LMIA you would have to log your file on 10 December.

that is my understanding but happy to be corrected on the forum by anyone who was successful in obtaining an LMIA.

Thanx for the reply. What I understand is If I login my file before 10th december, I will be eligible to get my PR processed according to CRS 948.
