Validate Work Permit without crossing border

Hi there,

I live in Toronto and I applied for a new work permit through the Paris visa center.
I just got the approval and I have to cross the border to validate the work permit on my passport.
I was wondering if there was any alternative to crossing the border, maybe an office in Toronto or something that could issue the actual work permit and stamp it on the passport..
