Valid WP, re-entry to Canada with visitor visa+WP

Hi guys,
I have a valid work permit with an expiry date of December 31, 2018. My initial temporary resident visa (W-1) was expired. But I still have a valid temporary resident visa (V-1) which was issued before I move to Canada as a worker. I will travel to Mexico in May. Can I use V-1 TRV for the re-entry with my current work permit or should I apply for a new W-1 TRV?

You can use your current TRV.
