Valid Visa on Old Passport

Hi,

Hope anyone can help. I was issued a Visa until February 2014, I wanted to go Canada by October 2013 but the Visa was in my old passport, I renewed since old passport is only until March 2014.

Do I need to apply for a new one or anyone heard about reprinting the visa on the new passport?

Or is it the same as in USA, I just need to bring old passport with Visa and new passport?
