Valid Study Permit, Expired VISA

Hi,

I am having a situation now, my study permit is Valid until 2017 but my VISA expired and i left Canada after my semester because of family emergency. I did renew my study permit. Can i get VISA from my country or is it like my study permit is also invalid and i can never go to Canada. Please any help would be appreciated.

Your SP is valid and you can apply for visa (TRV) from your country of legal residence. You will have to submit a new LOA from your school.
