Valid Permanent Resident Visa on Cancelled Passport

All - My wife is PRV holder and her visa is about to expired on 01/Sep/2020, we will be landing in Aug 2020. She has renewed her passport as she want to get her UAE residency visa renewed hence her embassy cancelled her old passport in which her PRV was stamped. Can she still be able to travel with carrying old passport with valid PRV along with new passport which has been recently issued. DO i need to inform Canadian authorities? Any thoughts / suggestion welcome.

hello everyone. I am in Canada on a work permit and my husband went to India in December. He had a valid visitor visa until 2024. he applied for a new passport due to a clerical mistake in the spelling of his name and reapplied for a visa in the new passport which got rejected. later I searched and found that his visa was valid. how does the rejection affect his valid visa on the old passport? please reply. I've been here alone for the past six months now.

Tough question, i am unsure what exactly mismatch or corrected between old passport and new passport, but i think you should ask this question from CBSA or Embassy of Canada in India, they might give you some suggestion.
