Valid Offer Letter for Express Entry(CEC)

I have my offer of employment provided by my company to get my ICT(LMIA Exempted) work permit extended for 2 years from jan'17 to jan'19. Can i use the same offer letter in my express entry profile to get extra 50 CRS points expecting my PR will be processed in 12 months and I will still have 1 year valid offer letter
 
Hii.. As far as i know you will get only 50 points if you have postive LMIA or if the employer name is stated in your work permit.....

1. I have applied under Canadian Express Entry class and have 2.5 years of work experience and currently I am on a work permit which expires May 15,2017. I have 453 points and when I check under arranged employment section to check how many points I have received and it shows "0" points. Can you please tell me how can I receive "50" points under arranged employment?

Also, if you can tell me in order to extend my work permit do I still need an LMIA from my employer or just a letter would work from my employer. (Currently, I am on a open work permit and I have been working with the same company past 14 months.

Please guide me what should I do?

Hii... In order to gain 50 points you must be having a employer name in your work permit....Just a offer letter from your employer will not gain you 50 points... Your employer must apply for LMIA... once you get the LMIA approval you can apply for closed work permit and you will get 50 points.... hope it works for you you can check the below link

in addition, if you have closed work permit you still need to update your profile to reflect the new changes to get the 50 pts except if your application was created after Nov 19
