I sent my passport to VAC Paris for visa stamping. They sent my passport to IRCC Paris on 28 Oct, the last day before beling closed due to the lockdown in France.
My passport was stamped and sent back to VAC Paris on 5 November. However, given that they are closed (probably for 1 month or more), I don't know when they will send my passport back to me.
I can't reach them by phone, emails, live chat and even if I go there in person, there's no use since it is closed. This is the very last step and I'm in a very difficult situation now. My residence permit in the country that I reside is expiring soon. I can't stay and can't even go back to my country without my passport. My new job is supposed to start on 1st of December and my employer has kindly changed the starting date 3 times so far.
Can anyone kindly suggest me a solution or let me know if the VAC maintains a minimal service despite being closed?
