Hey guys,

I was awarded PR status back in 2008, and activated it in March 2009 (valid till March 2014) 8). I only stayed in Vancouver for 10 days on that trip, it was primarily to activate my PR and also to check out job opportunities, lifestyle, living, etc. I haven't yet returned to Canada (went back to Uni, did some travelling, etc.) but giving it serious consideration to going to Canada from next year. Due to the 730 days in Canada obligation, if I want to keep my PR it'll be decision time in March 2012! :-\

I've read on another forum that you can use time worked for a Canadian company outside Canada towards the 730 day obligation, does anybody know much about this? I'm of Irish citizenship and just started working for a Canadian owned company here in Ireland and was wondering if this might be eligible time I can bank as part of the 730 obligation?

Later,

Paul

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Working for a Canadian employer normally only applies if you were working for them in Canada and they transferred you to another country.
