Hello,

I'm currently residing in Toronto, Ontario and by May 31st 2018 I will be eligible to apply for citizenship (I will have 1100 days of residence on May 31st 2018).

I will be taking a new job from June 1st 2018 until Dec 1st 2018, in Montreal, Quebec. Since it is a temporary job and I'm planning to come back to Ontario, I don't need to change my Driving licence or OHIP card to a Quebec ones.

I'm planning to send my application on Sep. 1st 2018, at which point I will claim 1190 days of residence (just adding an extra 95 days to the 1095 days required to account for trips to the US there and there).

My question is:
> Will it be an issue when I send my citizenship application on Sep. 1st using my Ontario driving licence and OHIP card as proof of IDs while I reside in Quebec? Wouldn't the immigration officer expect to see Quebec information for an applicant residing in Quebec?

The 3 scenarios I can think of is:
1/ Send my application on May 31st while still residing in Ontario. The problem is that I will be barely above the 1095 days required.

2/ Send my application anytime in between June 1st and Dec 1st, while residing in Quebec and using my Ontario driving licence and OHIP card as proof of IDs.

3/ Wait until I come back to Ontario on Dec. 2nd and then send my application. The problem with this is that I will have to wait an extra 6 months.

Anyone has some thoughts?

Thanks!
