Hello All, First of all thanks to all the senior members in this forum for helping me out till now.
I am now currently fully residing in Canada and commuting to US everyday for work. My 5 years finish in Sept 2023 and my PR card expires in Jan 2024. Lets say I am not able to meet Residency obligation till Sept 2023, can I still commute to work in US till Jan 2024 since my PR card is still valid.

Also, in worst case I miss the residency obligation by Jan 2024, Can I use COPR to commute to my work in US till I get my residency obligation completed and then apply for new PR card?

Thanks in advance.

You can certainly use your COPR to enter Canada by land after your PR card has expired. However be aware that if you don't meet the residency requirement, each time you enter Canada there is some risk you may be reported by CBSA and this would trigger the process to revoke your PR status.

Thank You for your reply. I can still use my PR card till Jan 2024 for commute purpose even if my 5 years finish in Sept 2023?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

You can certainly use your PR card.

As long as you meet the residency obligation as of Sept 2023, you should have no issues commuting.
