Use of a Representative IMM5476 - Two Allowed if for Different Matters?

I have a question about IMM5476 "Use of a Representative" form please...

I am a PR who has spent a few years out of Canada and want to return permanently. I am likely to be reported at POE in Toronto for failing to meet RO and intend to appeal the likely s.44 report made against me based on the work I have done with my current consultant/lawyer in Toronto. However, I was hoping to instruct a different lawyer for my PR Card renewal application (I hope to get a 1 year PR card whilst waiting for my appeal to the IAD for failing to meet the RO).

Can I use a different lawyer/consultant for theses two matters? The reason I ask is that the IMM5476 "Use of a Representative" form states:

"You may only have one representative only per application. If you appoint an additional representative, the previous representative will no longer be authorized to conduct business on your behalf and receive information on your case file."

Does anyone have any experience of using two different representatives for two different matters at the same time?

I would be grateful for any guidance on this from anyone with experience of needing to use two different "representatives" for two different matters with CIC.
