Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
IELTS Request
7.0 bands with no band less than 6.5
LANDED..........
Someday i will for sure..!!
I applied for student visa in canada under spp and it got rejected :(

reason for rejection is : your proposed study is not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications , previous studies , level of establishment ,or your future prospects and plans.

my profile-
10th cbse - 6.6/10
11th science - 42%
12th science - 52%
(got a combined marksheet for 11th and 12th due to which my total went below 50% and became my negative point i think)
IELTS - 7.0 bands ( L-8,R-7,S-6,W-6)
course - Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Now i am planning to apply for USA so what are my chances of getting approval? as i have already been rejected for canada once.

people say that Canada checks our past studies marks and judge us while USA takes interview and don't look at marks. They say if we show confidence in interview we can get approval.

so what should i do?

i am not going to change my course and will stick to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.

Well for USA u require GRE. And colleges/universities do look up academics and GRE scores.
The tuition fees for USA is double that of canada, but if yu end up in state colleges/universities, you stand up for a chance.
Rest is on you.
You are a 12th graduate so you have to take SAT test which is really tough, all the best.
USA checks ur academics too, the difference is USA colleges or universities to that and give you admission or an i20 form, trust me USA takes academics more seriously than canada.!!

there is no connection between the two. if you have got rejected here once dsnt make ur chances slim for any other country. i know someone who had his visa rejected thrice for canada and got the US visa in the first attempt. All the best to u mate. just follow protocol and u should be fine.

what are my chances under general category for canada?

reason for rejection is : your proposed study is not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications , previous studies , level of establishment ,or your future prospects and plans.

the refusal i got is due to low marks and i cannot change my marks ??? so if i apply under general then also i will get the same reason again for rejection :(

what should i do?

It is nt necessary that u'll get rejection everytime.!!
Apply with all the documents, you are good to go..!!
Strong SOP will do the trick.!!

Hey Jeet, I am from Mumbai India and right now I am in the USA. You will get into a US school easily, It depends on what school you are going to. If you go to a prestigious school, then they will look at your academic performance and your finances and decide if they want to give you an acceptance letter. If you get into a smaller school, they may just look at your finances and grant you a acceptance letter.

If you get an acceptance letter from the school you plan to study, then you will easily get your student visa. US immigration does not care about your academic performance.

So don't worry about getting your US F1 visa, you will get it. Canadian visa rejection does not affect your US visa, the only way it will affect is if your Canadian visa was rejected on criminal backgrounds.
