Please help me guys, I am in lot of confusion, tension and stress

I am going to file my visa next month for fall intake

My profile is.
10th-78%. -. 2008
12th-77%. -. 2010
Btech CSE-71% (no backlog) 2014

Selected for Meng in Windsor university

14 months experience in wipro (resigned last year in november)

USA tourist visa rejection last year in October. My only intention was to see my cousin and celebrate Christmas and new year.

I am going to deposit 2 term tuition fee and show GIC, annual income of 8 lakh through agricultural income certificate of dad and TRF of mom.


What are my chances of Canada study visa. Will the rejection from USA tourist visa have any bad impact on it.

How can I make my file strong???

Reasons of US rejection? And, correct me if im wrong, but in the application there is a question about denied entry or refusal of visas in any other country and you will have to answer truthfully obviously..then it depends on how strong your application is, to overcome that US rejection

They rejected my visa under 214(b) section.

The reason was : you were not able to demonstrate that your intended activities in the United states would be consistent with the classification of the non immigrant visa for which you applied.


I am surely gonna mention my rejection while filling the application.

I think my profile is strong enough except my USA rejection.

Can you please suggest me , how can I make my profile strong so that my rejection would not cause any problem.

I too had a US tourist visa rejection in 2013 under section 214(b).

Does it have any effect when I'm gonna be applying for a canadian study permit.

I personally think it won't. Me and my kids have been rejected for US Tourist visa too but I have been issued a work permit and temporary resident visas for my children. As long as your honest on you application for student visa then that should not be an issue.

I am a genuine student. I wrote my SOP , each and every work, with honesty .

Should I give clarification about my rejection in the SOP or only mention it in application.

Anyone who got his or her visa with USA rejection please help.

You should mention it on the form wherein it asks you if you have been rejected for a visa in Canada or US or other countries. State when you applied, and reason for rejection. That's what we did on ours.

I wanted to go to the US just to meet my relatives and visit few places like New York City and all, come back to India after spending some 3-4 weeks in the USA.

But the VO rejected me and the reason he gave me was section 214(b).

In such case what explanation can I give in my sop for Canadian study permit.

I had my talk with visa consultants. They told me not to mention it in SOP.
Only mention it in application.

Okay that would be good because I was like how to begin writing about visa rejection in the SOP

u should mention in sop with proper reason.
and mention that now u realize and for correcting that mistake

At that time I had an interview with the officer at the VO in Amman, Jordan
I told him I was rejected visa 3 times, and he laughed about the reason and gave me a Canadian study permit

To be honest, I didn't know what was the reason, first interview for F1 visa, the officer asked me 2 question and I answer, the 3 question I ask for translator as I didn't understand English back then, then she gave me the passport and rejection letter.
2nd and 3rd time was refused based on the first time !

the answer to the question, I wouldn't put much of a details, just say I have been refused tourist visa for USA, that what I would write
