I have been holding a US Visitor Visa (B1/B2 class) for 8 years since I started studying in Canada under study-permit status. When I receive my COPR in the future (through family class sponsorship), do I need to inform the States of my change of status in Canada for the US Visitor Visa?

In other words, should the States know that the US Visitor Visa holder transitions from a person studying in Canada with a study permit to a person who is a permanent resident in Canada?

Thanks!

you dont need to inform them . suppose you are visiting US in future from your homecountry and travelling back to home country US dont ask about canada even if they ask you can tell them you had or have visa to canada.Every thing will be ok
