I am a permanent resident (not candian citizen) living in Toronto and I do have a US B1/B2 visa and I have traveled to US a few times for office work.
Now I have been asked to visit again next month but this time my wife wants to be with me so I am thinking of applying her for a visitor visa at the US embasy/consulate in Toronto however the problem is that she doesnt speaks good english and has difficulty understanding it. My past experience with US visa interviews was that they only allow the person whos interview is in there so they wont allow me. She is also a permanent resident like me here in Canada (not canadian citizen).
I feel because Canada has 2 languages English/French the US embassy will only offer these languages and it could be a problem for her to get visa.
Anyone who has faced this issue in past?
