In addition to the photocopies of my diploma, WES requires two following documents:
2. Academic transcripts issued by the institution attended for all post-secondary programs of study
To be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended.

Please click here to download an academic transcript request form.

3. For completed doctoral programs, a letter confirming the awarding of the degree
To be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended.

My question is:
1. Can I directly send my transcripts to WES without the attachment of transcript request form?
2. What the hell is " a letter confirming the awarding of the degree". Never heard about this before. Anyone has an idea who should write this letter and what should be written in this letter?

Thank you.

Ask the institutions you attended to mail a transcript and letter confirming you graduated and got xx degree from them in xx year (they are pretty standard in some countries; in others you'll just need to find an admin willing to write the letter and put it in a sealed envelope). If this isn't standard procedure for them, providing a pre-paid courier envelope in which they can put the sealed envelope(s) may be appreciated and help speed things up.
