I am conditional US permanent resident but my marriage is dissolved. I want to visit canada but i have stayed outside US for more than one year due to unavoidable circumstances. My US resident card will expire after 7 months.
Right now i am thinking of visiting canada by air to meet friends and family and after couple of months i am planning to enter US by road to pursue my removal of conditions case but i am not sure if canadian immigration authorities will allow me to enter canada.
There is a high chance that US authorities will consider this abandonment of status. I want to know will this affect my entry to canada or not, as i am not able to find any info about this particular case on official immigration site.
