This looks similar to a PPR (except they are also asking for updated application information). Some visa-exempt applicants will receive this at the end of the process to be sure the passport information has not been changed. for example, if a woman's passport has a maiden name, or if the expriation is within 6 mo, then they will want to confirm the information. if it did not specify how to send it, then send it electronically. this is certainly acceptable. all you need to do is reply to the message sent to you. if you want to send a hard copy to cover your bases then you can do that too, though it is not necessary.kdubbs said:I did send a photocopy of my passport with the application. I think the reason might be because the expire date was going to be in August of this year, 2016. Last month I went ahead and took care of renewing it and just got my new one in the mail.
Its just confusing that they did not specifically request a hard photocopy be sent in. They also didn't give me any type of address to send it to. So I guess I need to look up the Ottawa visa office and hope it's the right address and send a copy express mail and hope it gets to the right place in 7 days
