Hello,
So here is my question, I will try and keep it short and sweet. So my husband lives in Canada, and is sponsoring me under spousal sponsorship. I am a citizen of the Ukraine, and I live in the USA as a Green card holder.Me and my husband just got married a year ago in Seattle. I am 4 months into my application for PR in Canada. Here is my Dilemma.
1. My Green card has my husbands last name as i just changed it from my Maiden name to his last name.
2. My Passport has my Maiden name as well as my PR application.

So I thought it would be a strait forward process to change my passport with my husbands last name but its a lengthy and complicated process for a Ukraine passport to be changed. So I thought I would leave it, So I called CIC and they said once my PR is approved as long as my passport and PR card match all is good. But they didn't know the answer to this question, so if anyone knows since I hold a green card in the USA, that qualifies me to go to Canada visa free. So with my Green card being in my husbands last name and my passport from Ukraine being in my maiden name along with PR card, will there be issues crossing into Canada as there is a name difference between my Green card and my Passport/PR approval forms? Will CBSA put up a problem with me with the last names being different on those documents? If anyone knows please help.
Thanks
