Hi there,

I am a Canadian PR holder with a wife and two kids. When we landed in May 2017, we applied for PR cards. My PR card was sent to me on July 2017. For my wife and kids, we were requested to provide new photos, which we did. After 2 months, the PR card for my wife and son were sent. To date, the PR card for my daughter (an American Citizen) has to not been sent. We all left Canada in August 2017 and now looking to go back.

We have the three PR cards (mine, my wife's and my son's). I am now wondering how my daughter will re-enter. What document does she need? an eTA?? please advise..

PRs don't qualify for eTAs (they're also not required for Americans). Provided your daughter has an American passport, she can enter based on that.

Thanks a lot....will they allow her to enter by air, or it has to be road??

US Citizens can enter using their passports at any entry point - land, sea, or air.
