US Citizen studying in Canada

Hello all

Im a canadian citizen and my wife is a US green card holder. She got accepted at Concordia university for fall 2016. Currently she and i are living in jordan

My question is: do i have to apply for a study permit or she can obtain one on the port of entry?

Another thing, is there any way she can get a loan for the period of her degree and from where?

Having a green card doesn't mean she is US citizen,

My friend is US citizen and he usually gets his permit from the port of entry, I don't know if this has changed

Thanksnfor the reply, yes she is not a us citizen she is a green card holder. As fas as you know, does shebhas to provide financial support in order to be given the study permit at the port of entry?
