My boyfriend and I want to get married and live in Canada. But we have a few questions, hopefully someone can help answer them.

1. Is it easier to get married in Ontario, Canada or somewhere in the US? I was reviewing it online and looking at the marriage license form. Since I'm not from Canada, will the form be rejected?...

2. We plan to live in Canada, and apply outland (spousal sponsorship) for me to stay and then work, but we hope to retire later on in life and return to the US. Is it possible? Is it recommended? Mostly because Canada has a high living expense, especially Toronto. We thought about moving to the US and I sponsor him instead, but he has a more stable job than me, with more benefits, and my line of work is more easy to immigrate with than his. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

3. If we have kids later on, will they automatically have dual citizenship? What can we do, or what should we do for them to have dual citizenship?

4. After we are married, he will sponsor me. If during the application process, they call us in for an interview, what kind of questions do they ask? I have evidence such as photos, videos, and text messages. What other evidence would they want?

5. We plan to apply outland so that I can continue working, if for some reason our application is rejected, when should we re-apply? Has this happen to anyone before? If so, for what reasons, any advice?

6. Did anyone on here use a lawyer? do we need a lawyer? I asked that before on here, and a few said they did it without lawyers. We figured that it shouldn't be too hard since we are from the USA and CANADA.

7. At border crossings should we say that we plan to marry? Did anyone ever have trouble at border crossings? What do you recommend?

Thanks, any info would be most appreciated. :)
