Hi,
My wife is American and I am Canadian. We have been married over 9 months now. We have decided to move back to Canada from the USA next month. I have gathered most of the paperwork to apply for her PR for Canada. But I think we will lean to apply for inland as I have been a non-resident for the last 3 years. Also currently we are both unemployed. I have ample assets that said in both Canada and the USA.
I assume I will need to write an letter explaining my finanial situation and how I will support my wife.
Is there any issue for her to just fly to Canda and then for us to send the paperwork about a week or so later? Searching online I have not come across anything that says this against the rules but want to make sure.
Also could we apply outland and then change to inland once we arrive to Canada? Or its one or other... Also the forms use "Sponsor vs Family class", is this what we call inland/outland on this site?
