US B2 Visitor visa from Toronto Canada

Hi guys,

How long does it take for the US embassy to issue the B2 Visitor visa after the interview. Can we pick it up the same day if they issue it right then? I just got my PR papers and plan to land. I also thougt I'd visit some family in the US and LAND on the way back. Is it easy to get the B2. I know this is not a US visa section. Didn't fine any so thought I'd improvise. any help will be appreciated. Thanks and cheers!!

Lucky for you, I just got an appointment to get one so I've been reading about it.lol

You have to fill out the form online and then book an appointment and pay online as well, which the next one available is
in about a half a month to a month,
And Once approved the Visa processing takes 2 business days and they will send it to a Loomis center that you
choose and that is where you can pick it up. They will send you an email once it arrives there or you can pay extra to be
sent to your house.

Weird, that in Toronto they don't issue the visa right on the spot.

No I don't think they will issue the visa right away. You still have to wait.

I applied US visa when I was in Toronto. I received at Loomis center within 2 weeks from the date the visa was issued.
