I granted asylum in Dec and was about to file for family petition to bring my wife and daughter from Syria to USA.
my wife and daughter were here since 2012 and left 2015 after my son was born and died here in the US.
started my asylum case was granted finally but now with this ban won't allow me to bring them here especially that the ban is indefinite for syrians. even though their names were included in my asylum case that means I can bring them here to me but now I can't and my daughter has asthma and needs medical treatment asap!
Is there anyways I can revoke my asylum here and go to Canada and apply for asylum and have my family come to Canada?
since the PM said he will help anyone who's effected by the ban which in my case I am effected but by the law if I'm protected in any other country I can't claim asylum in Canada and I'm really lost and confused.
please help

You need professional advice but my suspicion is that as you personally have been granted asylum in the USA, you no longer have any legal recourse to claiming asylum "protecting you from the USA". Your family however may be able to independently claim asylum for themselves in Canada. They would then have to "immigrate" you from the USA when they are eligible. Again, seek PROFESSIONAL advice.

Good news. There's no more ban.

As zardoz suggested you need to seek the advice of a lawyer as it seems your case deals with the US laws.

Thabk you all! Woke up today to see the ban is gone
But can I apply still for my family? I know the ban is gone but will they still isur visas or only allowed to enter with valid visa?

You would be best off asking this question on a US immigration forum.

I suspect this battle is far from done and you're going to see the Trump administration attempt to put the ban back in place.

Good luck.
