So I just received my wife's refusal letter for the WP she applied for.. The letter was generic, meaning I ve seen the same letter before in the forums about refusing one's WP. It stated that my wife could not satisfy the VO that she would leave when the contract was over. In the back of the letter there was a checklist in which the following were checked as reasons for not convincing the VO:
1. Travel History
2. Length of proposed stay
3. Purpose of Visit
4. I'm not convinced that the employment offer is genuine
We feel totally beaten.. It took us basically 1,5 year to get all possible documentation, the application and paperwork were revied by an immigration agency before we send it out, just to be refused for bogus reasons.. We have no idea how to proceed from here ... i don't think there a point in reapplying before we remedy the reasons for the first refusal which we don't understand at all since:
1. travel history is nothing special (she is an albanian citizen but is resident of Greece married to a greek so there's some going back and forth to Albania to see relatives etc. and one turist trip to Istambul and that's it... no other travel history...)
2. length of proposed stay is 2 years as a waitress is that too much or too little? I dont get it...
3. Purpose of visit? She come to work.. She has a contract and a valid LMO many years of working experience... What more do they need?
4. The employment offer is not genuine??? What does that meen? To HRDC was convinced but the VO knew better????
Sorry for the tone but I'm totally frustrated by all this... To make matters worse the LMO expires in 1,5 month so whatever has to happen, it has to happen fast.. Please help
