URGENT!! WORK PERMIT EXTENSION

Hello,

I have a few urgent questions. I would be applying for my work permit extension via online. Now previously when I came to Canada I had to submit all sorts of documents like police clearance and medical and bank statementstatement and all. Now I have come to Canada about 2 months back and the reason for my WP extension is because I got my passport reissued since it was going to expire by November..

My biggest question is that since I had previously applied with all those documents and that it has not been 6 months as of yet do I need to re-upload all those same documents again or strictly stick to the ones that they ask online?

I need to apply within the next couple of days so if anyone could help me out that would be amazing. Thank you all. Warm regards.

Hi,

I had to extend my PGWP before, but I don't know if this applies to you as well.. But yes, you have to upload the same set of documents when extending your work permit, as well as include a clear "letter of explanation" indicating why you're applying for an extension: because you have your new passport reissued. The letter of explanation in my opinion is the most important document to better explain to the visa officer your intent for extension.
