I have submitted my application on June 11th, however, I have not received any Emails regarding the approval of my application, submission confirmation, or CALL for Biometrics. I have read on the CIC website, that the day following the submission day I will receive an Email regarding a call for Biometrics from CIC website automatically. The application status is "unavailable"! It means that there is possibly a technical issue or something that prevents the system to send me the submission confirmation Email. I know some people, from my country, who submitted an application for a study permit after my submission date has received their confirmation, even the call for Biometrics Email. What could be the problem? and what can I do? Who should I contact? I Emailed Embassy, they told just wait!

Good day, i have the same issued, I applied online from US on 12th june for canada tourist visa. I haven't receive any update regarding my application submission confirmation or Biometrics. I'm worried and i have sent an email to visa office inquiry requesting for Biometrics and update on my case. I only received automated replied. Keep me postd if you have any info

There are some countries which are exempted from Biometrics , Therefore check if your countries names are there. As per technical issue. tomorrow from 3 Am to 5 AM there will be maintenance of online system. hopefully some bugs will be fixed.
I have received the confirmation Email today after 18 days! Just FYI, I filled a web-form 4 days ago and I think it was a problem on CIC. I suggest you do so as well. Filll and submit a web-form and mention the problem. Good Luck!
