URGENT URGENT- Multiple Entry Visa for Canada from India

I have to make an emergency visit to India sometime next week. I had originally planned my trip on 27th February 2013 from Saskatchewan and booked ticket for the same day and had sent Passport to CPP-OTTAWA office in Ontario on 29th January 2013 for TRV based on my work permit in Canada, later on I came to know that I had missing documents and probably Office would return my application back in around 10 days stating incomplete, however I took chance and sent the missing documents in next 2 days by Courier to CPP-Ottawa. Now I have to make emergency trip to India next week and I am stuck badly as I neither have my passport nor visa.

Now I am thinking to apply Multiple entry visa to Canada from India based on my work permit in Canada, Can anyone please advise what is the proedure to apply for TRV to Canada from India based on work permit and how long it takes to get Visa ? CPP-Ottawa office neither giving any updates nor returning my passport back. I left quit a few email but not genuine reply yet accept auto generated and they don't have telephone number as well.

Would it be advisable to get TRV in India in around 10 days time. ??

I would stay maximum about 10 days in India.

I would advise not to take risk. Its better to take visa from canada & den fly to India. As my per my personal experience i would recommend dont take risk applying from India. Good luck

It takes around 3-5 business days to have single / multiple entry visa done from India. VFS Global takes care of accepting applications on behalf of CHC.

Thanks frikkineh...do you know any one received multiple entry visa based on work permit from India in 3-5 days ? If I stay in India for 2 weeks, would it be safe or fine to have my multiple visa done from there ?? I have already sent my passport to CPP-Ottawa but missed few forms now its been 2 weeks but they are not giving any updates on my application and I think they might refuse it and I have already ticked booked for India on 27th February in this case I am planning to have my visa stamped from India.

I dont know anyone who has received multiple entry from india while on work permit however, the current timeline for CHC Delhi is 3 days as per CIC site. I dont think you may have issues getting visas from India
