URGENT: under CEC, but why foreign work experience documents required?

I am invited to apply under CEC.

I have irrelevant work experience outside Canada and my spouse has work experience in the United States. But we don't get points for our foreign work experience.
In the application form, I report our foreign work experience in the work history section.

In the supporting documents section, it shows that we need to provide proof of our foreign work experience.

Because I am invited to apply under CEC and we do not get points for our foreign work experience. Why are we required to submit proof of foreign work experience? Can we just delete the information from my application form? It is quite hard to get reference letters within 10 days!

If you are QUITE SURE that you got neither EE points nor CEC points (and they can be different) for your foreign work experience, take it out of your work history and leave it in the Activity section only. Your request for documents will disappear. You have the request because you reported the experience. BUT - be sure that it gave you NO POINTS on either scale before you do that!!

But how do I know whether I got points for EE and for CEC. I only see this shown in my CIC account:

Express Entry Profile Details
Criteria Details

Provincial Nominee Program Not Met
Canadian Experience Class Met
Federal Skilled Trades Not Met

Overall Score 830
CRS - Human Capital - Age 70
CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 0
CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 125
CRS - Human Capital - Second Official Language Proficiency 0
CRS - Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience 35

You're good! You have to document all the areas you show points for. But take the other jobs out of work history (but leave them in Activities, in which you document everything you did for the last 10 years) and your proof documents will disappear.

That said, my partner got points on our application only for education and English ability. They asked for his work documents too, and we provided them. It was easy for us to do, but if we hadn't been able to, I would have removed his Work History and just left the information in Activities.
