URGENT - study permit expired and travelling out of country soon.

Hey guys,
I've tried looking for an answer everywhere and haven't been able to figure it out.

So my Study permit along with my TRV expired on march 19th and now i have to restore it before the 90 days grace period, but I have a flight back home on the 10th of May 2015. Say I apply for the restoration today and leave the country. Will this affect the application process? I was thinking since it take ~16 weeks for the whole process, my aunt who lives in canada could receive it for me in my mailbox and forward it to me in Abu dhabi and I could then apply for a TRV in the office in Abu dhabi after I have my study permit? Or should I just leave the country on 10th May 2015 and apply for a new study permit and TRV altogether in Abu dhabi.

I'm enrolled for the fall semester, so I really want to be back latest by early September.

Two months is a long time to be in Canada without status. I would either leave Canada sooner or apply to restore your status.

I stopped attending school and working, but since my ticket was already made for may 10th, I was wondering if I should apply for restoration before leaving canada and if me leaving canada while the application is in process is going to affect or not?
