Urgent: Strange situation with NOCs

I am going to apply tonight and I need help.

I have been with the same company for 3 years. My official position was Associate Software Developer and then got a promotion to Software Developer. I was with one team doing full time development for a year or so, after which I changed the team and, although doing software development here and there, my main tasks focused on technical support.

This is the reference letter provided to me by HR:

This letter pertains to Mr. XXXX’s employment with the XX XX XX XX (XXX). Mr. XXXX has been employed with XXXX since the 21st January 2015 on full-time basis, working a 40-hour week from 0800hrs till 1700hrs.

Mr. XXXX current main responsibilities are mainly related to the SharePoint Operations. Main tasks performed include the administration of the MS Windows Server, MS SQL and MS SharePoint. He is also responsible for the maintenance and support of the MS SharePoint and site creations for the new MS SharePoint. He is also responsible in installing /upgrading and carrying out preventive server and service health checks and to diagnose and solve any problems and faults which occur in the operation of the hardware and software. Mr. XXXX has also been responsible for the development and testing of component and to provide component support beyond the first level.

During his course of work, Mr. XXXX has been also responsible to schedule installation work, liaising with all concerned to ensure that installation priorities are met and disruption to the organization is minimized. Mr. XXXX has also been responsible in collecting and document user’s requirements and to develop logical and physical specifications. He has also been involved in the research, evaluation, synthesize of technical information in order to design, develop and test computer-based systems. Mr. XXXX has been involved in the planning, design and coordination of the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems. As part of his duties, Mr. XXXX has also been responsible for the writing, modifying, integrating and testing software codes and identifying and communicating technical problems, processes and solutions. He has also assisted in the collection and documentation of user requirements.

I got the promotion after I changed the team within the same department.

How will I input these in the Express Entry profile?

1. I was thinking of choosing NOC 2173 (software engineer) for both?
2. Should I do that or should I provide two different NOC codes in the Express Entry profile (e.g. 1 NOC 2173 - Software Engineer and the other NOC 2282 - User Support Technician)?
   
3. Will these be counted as 3 years of experience or 2?
