Urgent! - Shipped passports on 25th Feb. ND, CHC saying not received.. Pls help

Hi Seniors!

Pls help - urgent..

I have shipped the passport to New Delhi CHC on 25th Feb. On 26th Feb Bluedart tracking has confirmed that passports have been received by them.

On 26th Feb - have send an e-mail to CHC, New Delhi to confirm whether they received my passports or not.. Surprisingly, here is their reply..

Guys - pls help me out.. what should I do ?

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

We have not received the passports as yet and your application is currently awaiting a review by a visa officer.

Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete and the passports are received, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be informed accordingly.

I think you should send the online tracking status to them that shows by whom it was received.....

It is very difficult situation. I think you get the complete delivery details from Blue Dart. Specially the name of the person who has signed the receiving at CHC and then perform further follow up with CHC. One more member on this forum also had similar problem. Brother,

There is no problem your passport defiantly is with them CHC, ND. When you send e-mail next day (26 Feb,2010) it may not reached the information to that person who was replying to your e-mail. You just wait few days and then check your e-case or reconfirm.
Embassy they are having many section and each section will take some time to update the information.

Relax and wait few days more.

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies.

I have just called up Bluedart ppl. They are saying - it has been received by CHC, New Delhi on 26th Feb, 2010 - 9:50 AM. There is a CHC stamp on it. They will be able to provide me proof of delivery in next 24 hrs.

Looks like the person who have replied to my query might be in different dept who haven't received our passports yet.. Might be, CHC, New Delhi has recieved it as bluedart is saying they are seeing CHC stamp on it..

Just praying to god - if that is the case.. Otherwise - I will be half died..

Please do not send visa or immigration enquiries to this address. You will receive a faster reply by contacting the Immigration Section directly: delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca.

Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:30
Friday 08:30 - 13:00

According to statement highlighted above on website, there will be indeed different sections where at one of the section my passport would have been reached but not other one.. That's why this might be discrepancy.

Another thing is , My passports were recieved on 26th Feb, 2010 at 9:50 AM, and I have sent them e-mail on same day at 12:51 PM (afternoon). After that sat,sunday and Monday were holiday, and they have responded me today (2 working days).. So, there can be definite posibility that this status e-mail is not up-to-date..

1. Just relax, Delhi is not going to send out letters stating that they have received your passport. You know that Blue Dart delivered it, it will be a month or so before they are returned with the visa.

I know it causes worries but as Blue Dart has assured you and are saying they have Gate stamp it means it is delivered. See CHC New Delhi packets are delivered at Gate No.2 and they have a big Box where they put all the packets. Now these packets are off loaded every evening in the admin department and then sent to the concerned department. So your passport might not have reached the right person like you said. Chill and just be ready to see the Maple.

Thanks rocky for detailed explaination. Yes, I am now definitely thinking in same direction.. Bluedart/DHL ppl will forward me PoD (proof of delivery) by max tomorrow. So, far it has been very fast process for me.. just waiting to get maple on my pp at the same pace.. and, many many congratulations to you as well. Let us know your landing experience... Sure God will help you and all.
But as I mentioned to you earlier in my post your passport is already in Embassy and under process.
Some time e-case also is not showing immediately change in status. I remember some one mentioned that he already landed in Canada and his e-status was showing still in process. so do not take the e-mail informations as very accurate or updated one.

Hope for positive you will get visa stamp soon on your passport.

My process is over already and I got visa in Feb20, now planning to land God-welling (Inshallah)
