Hi, I got confused while completing Schedule A (Personal History) online for my parents. So please anyone kindly help me.
Instruction guide 5772 says "Exception for personal history: If you have not worked in the past 10 years (for example, you’re retired), you must provide details of your personal history since the age of 18. The resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) that you provide with your application will help verify the information in this question."
Online Application Portal says -
"Section D: Personal history
Provide the details of your personal history for the past 10 years, or since your 18th birthday if it was less than 10 years ago. Start with the most recent information. Under “Activity,” write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example, unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention). If you were outside your country or territory of nationality, indicate your status in the country or territory you were in. Note: Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time"
My father retired in 2007. So here is my questions:
1. Do I need to provide his personal history online in section D for last 10 years (as retired with no gaps in time) only and include his CV containing his personal history since 18 years of age (with no gaps in time) as a separate document?
or,
2. Do I need to provide his personal history since 18 years of age online in section D (with no gaps in time) and include his CV as a part of his application?
I am asking this because Section E and F asked about Membership and association with organizations and Government positions anyway.
Again please help me with that.
