Hi all, I'm a newbie :)
Today I just received a request letter about Replacement Needed : Police Certificate.
As my application, I am currently in Vietnam and I was in Singapore 6 months 5 days last year. IRCC mentioned this in my Request letter:
> Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate/ Ly Lich Tu Phap so 2
Thus, I wonder if they mentioned about a Police certificate from Vietnam (my residence) or a Certificate of Clearance from Singapore since they have never mentioned Singapore in this letter.

P/s: I already submitted a Police certificate (Ly Lich Tu Phap so 2) when I applied visa for the first step.
Thank you and really appreciate your help.

All countries you stayed for 6 months and more you should provide PCC. I also received that kind of request. Uploading that file in gckey have a certain deadline, and if you fail to upload. It is also stated in the request letter what will happen to your application. I suggest read it carefully.

They usually don't mention from which country you need the police clearance. Since you lived more than 6 months at Singapore so you must submit Singapore Police clearance certificate and that is what they requested indirectly by mentioning this "> Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate/"

So get the police clearance certificate from Singapore ASAP and submit. Thanks and Good Luck.

Yah I got it, since I used to see one request letter for COC from Singapore too and IRCC directly mentioned about Singapore, that's why it makes me confused. Even that, I'm on the way to apply COC from Singapore, hope will get the approval soon.
Please update me the timeline if your Police Certificate is approved.

Thank you :);)

Yah definitely I'm still applying COC from Singapore although I got confused. But just wonder if it's worth for a trial that I re-submit the Police Certificate from Vietnam first, then if IRCC directly mention about COC from Singapore, they will resend me another Request letter. I'm not sure if that leads to bad impression for my application...

Btw, is Additional Document Request (Request Letter) a good sign for approval?

No.... You need to submit police clearance from Singapore. DO NOT SUBMIT VIETNAM Police certificate again. But you can submit both countires Police clearance certificate together in one PDF. They are only interested your Singapore police certification. Submitting VIETNAM police certificate only would be waste of time. And yes additional document request is good sign.

I see, I am waiting for an approval from Singapore Police Force for my Certificate of Clearance, then I will submit it ASAP.
Thank you so much for your fast reply friend, good luck to you too ;)

Im still waiting for their reply but my PCC was already upload last oct.19. Hoping this coming week i will have update. Theres someone i knew that applied also just ahead of few weeks to me when i applied, he received a PCC and medical request at the same time. It really depends sometimes on the officer who handles thw file i think.
