[Urgent question]Need Original Copy of Work Permit for entering Canada?

Hello,

I have a friend who is coming back but forgot his original Work Permit by the time he left. He's getting an Entry Visa in 2 weeks and have a photocopy of his Work Permit. Would that be enough for his entry?
