Urgent question about IELTS valid date

Hi all,
I took the exam last year, the date of the test was 09/OCT/2010 and the result distributed date was 21/OCT/2010. I wanna submit my application this October , so for now, do i need to retake the exam? thanks.

From what I know, and I think is right, IELTS test scores are valid for up to 2years, so I think your test results are still valid, it will just be a year old when you submit your application

hey funty, thanks for your answer. I hope that what u said is right, but i found two versions about the valid date of the language test result; one is on the CIC website it's clearly noticed that test rersult must not be older than two years upon date of submission, but on the website of visa office in paris it's one year. so i'm confused by this. by the way i'm in paris now.
