Let me explain my senario. I got my ITA in the last week of June, so I have three months to submit my documents. My visa office is London Visa Office. So far I have all the necessary documents except for the UAE Police Certificate which I heard takes very long to get. I am really confused at this point whether I submit all the documents along with a receipt of UAE police certificate application or should I wait till I get it. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

If I were in your shoes I'd submit now with the receipt and a LOE regarding the UAE PCC.

At least they can then get cracking on the rest?

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. I was thinking of doing the same but I have heard on this forum, many of the applications have been rejected due to not providing the PCC. What do you think? Is that true?

Yes if you don't supply one at all you will be rejected. But many people received extensions on slow processing of PCC's.

Hi
I am in the same boat. My COC appeal got approved by SPF and I have applied for my COC certificate.
I will be submitting my application with the COC application and fee payment proof and shall elaborate about it in the explanation document I will be attaching along with my application...
Rest is upto you if you want to wait... All the best...

Thanks

Based on what I heard from the experienced members of this forum, If you can't get pcc on time, you have to wait until the last few days before submitting your application (some say the last day, but I consider that a risk). If you submit early, showing proof that you applied for pcc, but have not received it yet is not sufficient. IRCC only excuses missing PCC with proof that that you have applied if you can prove that you have done everything possible on your end to obtain the actual pcc before submitting your application.

Example: If you got your ITA on June 30th and your deadline to submit you application is september 30th, wait until september 27th/28th before submitting application. That shows that you have tried your best to upload pcc with your application and explain and show proof in an LOE that you have applied for pcc and you will provide it as soon as you receive it.

Sorry for asking so many questions. My 90 days period will end in the 3rd week of September. I have already applied back in June for The UAE PCC and it will take minimum 3 months, could be more. However, I do have 2 PCCs from two other countries(my country of residence and birth). So should I wait till the end of 90 days period or apply right away.
Many Thanks.

Wait at least until 87th/88th day. I wouldn't wait until the 90th day because there is alway the risk of technical difficulties, payment not going through, etc.. I would like to reserve 2-3 days for that.

If your application submission date is approaching and PCC will take longer you can submit your application and include a LoE. The LoE should include the following:

1. The reasons why you cannot upload the PCC.
2. The reasonable steps yo have taken to obtain the PCC, such as mailing receipts etc.
3. Any documentation that can substantiate that you have applied for the PCC.

IRCC will provide you with an extension to upload your PCC.

I was wondering if there any prompt service available for overseas as I lived in the UAE more than 6 months and I have applied for the PCCs through UAE embassy UK.
