urgent query on skilled worker new list

hi

i am a pakistani in uk working on a work visa that is expiring this oct. i am planning to give ielts in a month and then applying for canadian immigration.

my question is that am i eligible to apply from uk as my current visa in uk is uptill october? or do i have to go back to Pakistan for applying?

If when you entered UK, your non-visitors visa was valid for a year and that is the visa you are on now, then you may apply from UK even if it is expiring in October. This was the old rules and I don't see any changes to it in the new rules.
But if you have to leave UK and then you are called for an interview, you might find it difficult to come back to UK for an interview.
