URGENT Qorax/Seniors, Will they issue visas if passport valid for 5 months?

Dear Qorax/Seniors

Will CHC LON issue visas if passport valid for 5 months?
I have 21 days to comply with the passport submission request,
I have already applied for new passport and was told by the embassy that
due to the backlog, passports could take another 1 month, and I have to submit
my passport to london within the next 21 days

my options are
1. Shall i send them my current passport? (which will expire Apr 2013)
2. Wait for the New passport, but no idea if i will get it in time

OR
is there a possibility to ask LONDON for time extension, since my passports are not yet renewed


Im confused big time
please assist, thanks in advance

I think u should not send old passport bcoz need minimum 6 months valid passport.so u should wait for new passport then send it.this is my view.

They will... but [unfortunately] ur PRVs would be valid till the expiry date of the pps. If u r Ok with that (read imdt landing) - u'd might good (unless the issuance of PRVs get delayed.

Ideally, u should've revalidated/renewed ur pps already (imdt after the meds). Alternatively, write to ur IO reg. renewing it now & give them a prospective 'date' by which u could submit ur pps. If u do so, there might be a small delay in stamping ur pps -- but that might be safer than having close deadlines (to fly).

Thanks BOSS! I knew I could count on you, for the expert input, however, I just need to point out 1 thing bro

I did send my passport for renewal immediately after the MEDS
but the timing between MEDs and PPR request amazed me, i.e. just 11 days apart
my meds reached them 11th and 22nd i got my PPRs, and i wasnt expecting it so soon
hence this dilemma, so confused now, having waited all this long for my case to finalize
I am overwhelmed buddy.

Qorax has given you perfect advice.If I were in your shoes ,I would have NEVER taken a chance of getting my long awaited visas stamped on old passport.

Regarding getting an extension of Passport submission date,its not an issue and just a matter of sending an email to LVO.As long as your meds. are valid,you are fine.My brother got an extension of more than 3 months for passport submission,he got a request to submit Passport in April ,whereas he submitted them only in August.
