URGENT! PROBLEM ABOUT NOMINATION

Dear members and seniors,

I need your advice... I have been nominated by SASK under family stream... In my nomination my info is included as well as my dependents' info is included. Passport No. which is mentioned about me is the old one and expired one and when they asked me additional documents request they asked me renewed passport... i sent them the copy.. now they have updated the expiry date but they haven;t updated the passport no. which is being the same as of old one... now i am about to send application to CIC for next process... will it affect my application process? i also have asked this question from SINP.. they replied that "yes my application may be affected by this.. once again they have asked a copy and said that they will issue a new certificate... but they also have mentioned that it may takes several weeks to process... Now i know several weeks means months... already i have waited 24 months to get nominated... now they are saying several more weeks to process to correct the mistake...

PLEASE ADVICE what should i do in this situation?

My suggestion will be to apply to CIC with the old passport and then advice them about the changes with copy of the new passport and a well drafted letter explaining why your passport changed. I had to do same when I renewed my passport mid application. This is assuming you haven't told SINP to start processing the changes.

But it contains expiry date of new passport and number of old passport...
