URGENT . PR application

Hi, I’m new here.
I applied for PR February 2020 through CEC and I have done all the necessary things needed. My timeline says final decision on my application will be made August 5th which is 6 days from now. My problem is that my open work permit expires tomorrow July 31st. I’m just wondering if I need to apply for a new open work permit before my decision on 6 days or it doesn’t matter. I am confused and I don’t want anything negative to influence the decision of my application. Please share your opinion

If you want to continue working, you need to apply for a BOWP before your current work permit expires. Submit the application tonight if you can. You've cut things really really close.

Note that processing is taking longer right now due to COVID-19. You should expect that yoru application will not be finalized by August 5th.
