Good day seniors, my husband is coming over for masters. Myself and my 3 sons have visiting visas. My 1st son visa will expire in dec 17th 2015 while d rest of us will expire next year. My husband will be coming to resume in sch by 1St week in December 2015. My plan is to join my hubby in canada next year with my sons so I can apply for work permit in my country since its taking too long to get in canada. The question now is about my son that his visa will expire in dec. I want to know if he can come in with his father when his father is coming to canada to resume sch? If father and son will not have problems with immigration people? He will be 5 years old then. Thank you in advance for your help
Hi Tonfalls,
I am not seniors but I am the same your situation. What I were advised as following:
- Your husband must get your permission letter to bring your Son to Canada
- Your son should buy round trip to prove he will go back your home country (will cancel later and pay fee). If any question to your husband at POE he will answer you will go to Canada later to bring your son back to home country (should keep a copy of your visa). Because my country require round trip ticket for visa visitor.

I hope you do not have any issue at port of entry.
Cheers
P/S: your family had visitor visa first and your husband had student visa later, is it correct?
