To all who can help. Here is our situation. Me & my gf just got married. So she is my wife now. Now, her work permit expired last Nov 2011, she is now under restoration status & it will expire on 2 february. Our LMO application is now in process, we applied last Dec 2011. Now I will include her in my restoration status. My work permit is still valid. I will start my application of restoration next week. My question is, will my restoration save her status to legally stay in Canada since we are married now? til hopefully God-willing my LMO application gets approved & she can apply for an open work permit.

What do you mean by your restoration will start next week? A TRV holder (temporary foreign worker/student/visitor) is not granted special privileges even when married to a Canadian citizen. S/he must maintain a valid status to remain in Canada. Is a LMO being applied in her favour? She can apply for restoration now (as a visitor if no LMO is being applied in her favour); will buy her some time, as she can stay in Canada till she receives a VR or a refusal; hopefully you would already have a WP (skilled) and she can send an application for OWP.
