I am sponsoring my wife and I got approved to sponsor her. Now they sent us an email saying they need another form to be filled and our recent contact proves and at the same time they ask us to pay FDRP ! what is this? does this mean my wife is going to get her visa? and how do I pay ? I remember when I first submited the application I paid 550 dollars ,and I was told before my wife gets the visa we have to pay but this is confusing
Applicants for permanent residence can pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee ($490) at the time they submit their application or at a later date when requested. The processing fee is still required when submitting an application.
Please note that Processing fee and RPRF for sponsored Family class applicants can only be paid to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Canada
There are three ways you can pay your fees:
Pay online
To pay your fees online you will need:
•PDF Reader software
•a printer
•a Visa®, MasterCard® or American Express® credit card, and

When you are finished, you must print a receipt of payment and include it with your paper application.
Pay at a financial institution
If you cannot or do not want to pay online, you must get an original receipt of payment form IMM 5401 to pay at a financial institution (such as a bank or Western Union). This form is not available online. You must order an original receipt by mail.
You must include a copy of this receipt IMM5401 with your paper application.
